In a Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance staff interview with GameSpot, it was revealed that the soundtrack of the title has been significantly reworked from the original game. According to composer Ryota Kozuka, around 80% of the songs from the original Shin Megami Tensei have been redone, alongside there being 20 new battle themes.
