eFootball, Konami’s rebranded version of the old Pre Evolution Soccer series, is all set for its next major annual update as part of v4.0.0.
The update will change the base game from eFootball 2024 to the next version, and yes, Konami is dropping the year from the name. Unlike EA FC 25, you won’t need to download a separate client. Instead, you have to get the update once it’s available on your chosen platform.
