Trading Posts or Trade Outposts in No Man’s Sky are present on planets in all star systems with lifeforms. They serve a variety of purposes and are a good pitstop to buy and sell items using a Galactic Trade Terminal, like the one you find in Space Stations.
However, trading posts are not useful if you need resources in bulk, as you won’t find as much quantity here as you would at a space station.
